2024 Photos and Events

2024 Highlights

January 18th, 2024: Happy New Year!  New officer's take over their role. George Wisk, President, Joe Prete, Vice President, Fern Minsky, Treasure, Lyn Marino, Membership, Tracie Atkinson, Secretary and Lead of Tropical Fruit Point. Outgoing President Tracie Atkinson runs video of the highlights of 2023. "Where we've been & Where we are going" with member participation. The Auction Table, Raffle Table and Tasting table overflowing with huge assortment each.


January 27th, 2024: Friends of PSL Botanical Gardens Plant Show. The club participated with fruit to taste and tree to raffle for chance to win.  

February 15th, 2024: Club meeting: Avocado Tree Grafting Workshop. 28 Lula & Day avocado seedlings donated by Tracie Atkinson for this hands on experience for all who signed up.   

March 6th, 2024: Martin Co. Master Gardner's invite TCRFC members to join them on a bus tour to N. Ft. Myers for a tour of ECHO!! Fascinating tour!  Must revisit! 60 varieties of tropical fruit tree's and learning to grow your own food off the grid, no matter what climate you live in. Demonstrations for all.


March 16th, 2024: Garden Tour with Members Priya & Vardheesh.


March 21st, 2024: Club gathering with Speaker Priya Vardheesh on Sprouts & Microgreens.  

TCRFC Tropical Fruit Point within PSL Botanical Gardens is nearing completion of the final planned planting phase!
