One point Druker barely has time to make at the end of the above videos: It is an important issue in information systems that whenever there is an update to life-critical software, it must be rigorously tested for introduced flaws. An example is the control software for airlines. Even if the person changing the code is the original author, the person who most thoroughly understands the software, even the smallest change can (and has) cause(d) catastrophic errors. DNA is one of the most complex and at the same time least understood information systems around. Small changes to the sequence may cause unintended effects–new allergens, toxicity, changes in digestibility, whole new ways of operating. To claim that shooting a new gene randomly into the DNA of an organism is substantially equivalent to standard plant breeding is absurd and highly dangerous.
New book by Steven Druker, the public interest attorney who sued the FDA over their GMO [3] policy.
Through legal discovery in the lawsuit, Druker obtained memos from FDA scientists showing the politically appointed FDA administrator’s assurances that GMOs are safe, substantially equivalent to traditional crops and that there is no evidence of any harmful effect were deliberate lies.

Whenever you hear a so-called expert say there is no evidence of harm, or that there is a scientific consensus on the safety of something, don’t just take their word for it: you should know that those experts may be repeating lies either because they too have been misled, or because there is a major monetary incentive. That has been demonstrated in the case of GMO food, fluoride in drinking water, and smart meters to name a few.

The vast majority of GMOs are food crops designed to tolerate Roundup herbicide. The active ingredient of Roundup is glyphosate. The World Health Organization has linked glyphosate to cancer. But there are many other bad health implications from this poison:

[3] GMO: Genetically Modified Organism. Taking genetic material out of one life form and artificially forcing it into the DNA of another life form.
The vast majority of GMOs are food crops designed to tolerate Roundup herbicide.
There are two main purposes for creating GMOs:
1) to sell more chemical herbicide, which is a huge profitable market, {used to kill weeds in fields of Roundup-immune crops. It is also commonly used to kill and quickly dry out other crops so seed can be harvested more quickly.} and
2) to be able to patent the “new” organism, creating a profitable monopoly on life itself, and total control over agriculture.
3) sometimes the GMO industry claims they are developing solutions to plant problems. The GMO papaya in Hawaii was supposed to save the plantations from a disease affecting papaya. It did that, but at the same time it created even worse problems with other diseases that were not a problem before. And now, the GMO papaya pollen has drifted into neighboring fields and effectively destroyed the local organic Papaya farms since they are now all GMO.
Because pollen drifts via wind or insects, farmers who have saved seeds for decades (creating their own locally adapted varieties) find their fields contaminated by nearby GMO crops. Monsanto pays a bounty for reports of anyone not growing their GMO crops; enforcers then trespass on those farmer’s property to collect samples. If even one percent of their saved seed resulted from pollination by a neighbor’s GMO plants, enough of the new crop will have a Monsanto gene* so that the farmers will be sued by Monsanto for patent infringement, forced to pay crippling fines & pay Monsanto all the income from their Monsanto-contaminated crops, and are not allowed to continue saving seeds.
[Documentary]
* Plants have evolved over eons, and most food crops have been carefully bred by our ancestors over countless generations to have desirable characteristics such as taste, size, color, nutrition, drought and pest resistance, etc. Companies like Monsanto, Syngenta, BASF, Bayer, Dupont, Dow, change but a few genes out of tens of thousands in the plant. Our patent system is so corrupt, they are able to patent the entire plant. When that plant cross pollinates with another, the company then claims ownership of the contaminated crop. It seems their intent is to patent all plants and animals so they can control the entire food supply.
